If there are any errors within 24 hours after submission, it can be corrected free of charge
For both parties’ protection, all progress and files will be shared through email and cloud storage.

Payment Information

  • PayPal in USD (handling fee included)

  1. Personal Account Only
    Payments must be made from the client’s personal PayPal account.

  2. Invoice Issuance
    An invoice detailing the commissioned items will be provided by me.

  3. No Third-Party Transfers
    Payments via third-party accounts or services are not accepted unless discussed and approved beforehand.

  4. Suspicious or Mismatched Transactions
    If the payment appears suspicious, comes from an unknown sender, or does not match the agreed terms, it will be refunded and the commission will be cancelled.

  5. Cryptocurrency & Platform Credits
    Payments via cryptocurrency or third-party platform credits (e.g., Ko-fi credits) are not accepted.

    (For controversial or sensitive IPs not listed, please ask in advance.)

  • Male Characters
    Currently improving my skills in male character illustration — please kindly check if my style matches your expectations.

  • Outfit Designs with Unique Structures or Details
    I love working on clothing with distinctive features or creative designs — these are always a joy to illustrate!

DONT

  • Unfinished character, Text-based only character, AI-assisted character or outfit

  • Any additional reference images, e.g., changing outfits based on photos.

  • Commissions involving disputes over the original work, such as official imitations and official prohibited commissions

  • NFSW, pedophilia

  • Monster, Humanoid, Mecha, Elderly and middle-aged, muscular, 

  • Non-humanoid ( kemonomimi is ok)

  • Perfectionists.  e.g., eyebrows should be 30°

  • Ignore my reference requests

  • ​Ask me to copy, trace, etc. If you ask me to do so during the process, the commission will be terminated directly

  • Ask me to change my style. I will terminate the commission if you ask so.

  • Leave all the decision to me .

Personal Use

OK

  • Minor edits such as cropping, adding personal watermark, or text are allowed.

  • (It's recommended to check with me in advance.)

  • Gifting or art trades are allowed — please notify me beforehand.

  • Credit me as  Drizzle / Drizzle0322 when sharing.

  • Non-commercial small batch printing (under 10 copies) is allowed.
    For larger quantities, please contact me first.

Additional Usage Permissions

  • May be used as reference by other artists (e.g., for redrawing or derivative works).
    If the design is complex, partial tracing is allowed — no extra license needed.
    Please communicate directly with the new artist for clarity.

  • You're welcome to design unseen parts (e.g., back view) on your own.

  • Single-item physical production (e.g., costume making) is allowed.

NO

  • Tracing / Plagiarism / False Attribution. Do not trace, plagiarize, or claim the artwork as your own.

  • Unauthorized Edits / Filters / Over-editing

Edits (incl. by you or others) count as a full buyout and will be charged accordingly.

Fee adjustment or partial refund with revoked rights.

  • Shared Ownership & Use
    Unless otherwise agreed in writing, commissioned works are for personal use by the client only

  • All commercial and resale rights remain with the artist. Any shared or additional usage rights require prior written agreement.

  • Fees will be multiplied by 2–2.5 for commercial use and buyout, calculated separately. Licensing terms must be agreed upon via a separate contract. Misreporting usage is strictly prohibited and the price difference will be reclaimed.

  • ​Vtuber and livestream-related uses are considered commercial.

  • To avoid misunderstandings, please discuss any needs or questions in advance. I’m happy to provide guidance based on the situation.

Commission Guidelines

Collaboration Guidelines

  • Materials must be self-made or legally licensed 2D/3D assets. Full custom materials will be assessed. No AI-generated materials or tools will be used.

  • For smooth collaboration, I kindly decline the following requests:

    • Perfectionist details (e.g., insisting on specific measurements)

    • Unclear or changing commission descriptions, ignoring confirmed details, or frequent rough sketch revisions

    • violating the surprise option guidelines

    • Vague descriptions like "forest feel" or "dreamy atmosphere"

    • Clients who prefer low communication and delayed responses

Public Guidelines

  • WIP
    Progress images can only be shared with mutual consent. If the client shares them, please credit the artist

  • Final Artwork Release
    Non-buyout works will be publicly shared with a watermark by default. If you wish to delay this, please inform me at the time of commissioning.

  • Artist's Usage Rights
    For non-commercial or non-buyout works, the artist retains the right to showcase the artwork. Any use beyond portfolio (commercial or non-commercial) will be discussed with the client for approval.

 Revision Policy

  • Free Revisions
    One free revision each for sketch and color draft. Please submit all changes at once.

  • Additional Charges
    Additional design requests or revisions will incur a fee, based on the scope.

​

  • No Changes After Completion
    No revisions after final artwork, except to correct artist errors.

​

  • Confirm on Time
    Revisions requested after the deadline may incur a fee or be declined.

​​

  • Surprise Package
    No revisions allowed for surprise package designs.

Suspension Policy

1. Termination Conditions
Termination may occur if:

  • The client requests changes to established rules (e.g., frequent revisions, multiple sketches).

  • The client deems the style unsuitable and decides to stop.

  • There are risky transactions or disputes.

 

2. Post-Termination Usage Restrictions

After termination, the client cannot use any artwork created (including images, references, or edits). The client may privately store them but must negotiate for usage rights if needed.

 

3. Non-Response Handling

  • If the artist doesn't respond within 5 days after 3 contact attempts, the client may cancel the commission and request a full refund.

  • If the client is unreachable for over 5 days, the artist may cancel the commission and retain the payment.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds will be determined based on the project completion stage, with specific percentages outlined in the Termination Refund table.
